Angelina Vick : Featured Artist
The worst part of an argument with a lover...is the distance it creates. Inspired by Edward and Bella.
Angelina Vick works in Multimedia and focuses primarily on photography, painting and digital art. Her work is not only exciting to view, but is also unique in presentation - her own emotions frequently confront the viewer in an interesting and yet gentle way as shown by the featured image above and below.
Soul Mates - Angelina says "'I think that there is a perfect match for most people, but not everyone.. I met my match when I was 18 years old, and in every way...I can see he is exactly what I needed. When I think of soul mates....I think it's the person you cannot live without...the one other person who makes you better than what you would be without them. That person who sees you...really sees you for who are...and loves you for it... First Kiss, Soul Mates, Star Crossed Lovers and Entwined is a 4 part series."
"Ballet is so graceful, the movement and costumes. So much time spent practicing and practicing....and then when it's time for the performance, you patiently wait for your turn to dance. This is the waiting."
Within her art Angelina explores nature, music, and words that move her, along with the delicate balance of life and what she finds beautiful. She admits to being a passionate woman, and invites her viewers into her mind by way of looking at her art.
On the points Angelina makes of herself, I can fully agree with her. Her works brim with emotion, beauty, beliefs and each nuance of life that is the product of a very curious and yet interesting mind. If I had to say anything about Angelina Vick's work, it is that she lays her soul bare for all within her art, and it's a beautiful journey to peruse her artworks.
"Part of a series, flowers with similar fade out to the edges, I picture 3 different flowers hanging side by side. Check out my flower gallery and you will see the other ones I am making. Every hear of Flypaper Textures? I used Lemoncello to make this image."
"This is a lake at Robbers Cave, in Oklahoma. To say this sight was magical would be an understatement."
A personal favorite among many!-:
He is a magnificent. Happily following instructions from the fellow photographer that was with me that day, Ernie Echols. He was strutting and calling, shaking his feathers and showing off.
"This work started out as an abstract tree, acrylic on canvas. I enjoyed the design, but found that it was a little too simple for my liking. What you see here is the painting after digital alteration....multiple layers. I also used Flypaper Textures in my digital layering."
Pink Calla Lillies 2:
I am very fond of calla lilies, next to roses they are my favorite. I digitally darkened this image from the original.
Touch of Class Trio
Beautiful and intricate design work!
Watching Over Me In Darkness:
Angelina says "I believe there are angels among us." I happen to agree with Angelina!
Lilies Of The Field:
"This painting is about the different stages of a woman's life".
It has been an immense pleasure to feature the work of Angelina Vick. As you can see, her works are emotive and relative to what surrounds us all, except that Angelina shows us how she sees things.
